Needless to say, employing JailHost won't replace the security measures you should always take by keeping your scripts up-to-date and using long and complex passwords, still it will enable you to restrict any damage to one site only.

JailHost in Web Hosting

You can take full advantage of JailHost with each and every web hosting plan that we provide and protect your sites against attacks fast and easy. Every single domain and subdomain in the Hepsia Control Panel which comes with our packages has a different folder and in contrast to what can often happen with many other Control Panels, the site content isn't mixed up in just a single main folder, so keeping your Internet sites separate is rather easy. Activating JailHost for any website takes just a couple of clicks, so even if you don't have much experience, you will not need any specific skills to keep your websites risk-free. The option is not active by default in case that you would like to use a script that requires accessibility to an additional folder in your account. In case you use JailHost, the rest of the sites that you have will be secured, but even a hacked one won't remain affected for long because we will have several daily backups for it all of the time, so we can easily restore it.

JailHost in Semi-dedicated Servers

All of our semi-dedicated server plans come with JailHost integrated by default. This option is not enabled automatically when you add a domain since you may wish to use some script that accesses different folders in the account, but you can activate it without any difficulty through your Hepsia Control Panel and protect your other sites with just a couple of clicks. Hepsia is much better to use if you have multiple websites as it keeps them in individual folders and doesn't keep the files for several sites in the very same folder like it often happens with alternative Control Panels. This allows us to offer you JailHost as all the folders can be isolated from each other. If any one of your websites gets hacked, we can promptly restore it thanks to the multiple daily backup copies that we will keep and meanwhile the attacker will not be able to do further damage since the access to your other Internet sites will be stopped.
